It is our pleasure to introduce the initial publication of BurbankVillage.COM. BurbankVillage.COM is a new e-publication with the express purpose of covering events and happenings here in Southern California's City of Burbank. Originally planned for opening during the middle of this year, we decided to rush the publication of this e-zine to provide coverage of our local municipal elections, giving space and support for all candidates who wished to provide information about their campaign on-line. We were pleased at the response, having received over 9000 hits to various candidate sites in the month of February.

Our hope remains that BurbankVillage.COM can provide a continuing forum for community events and concerns. Beginning this week, we will introduce a column from former City Council Candidate Alan Silvers, to be followed later with articles from our roving correspondents on subjects of interest and importance to the people and visitors in our fine city. From environmental issues, to housing and politics, as well as tours and reviews, BurbankVillage.COM will strive to be your source for local information.
